Purpose: The 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans emphasizes the need to increase fruit, vegetable and whole-grain consumption. To facilitate this need, Child Nutrition Services and Team Nutrition are offering a fun workshop that focuses on culinary techniques, the use of fruits, vegetables and whole grains in meals, and tips for encouraging children to try new foods.
